Kindermusik Imagine That! is for children 3 1/2 to 5 years. Imagine That! takes you and your child on an incredible musical journey of discovery and exploration
a journey that is limited only by the power of imagination. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing your preschoolers vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your childs potential to learn and to encourage her cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality.
Cities! Busy Places~Friendly Faces In this unit, sidewalks, elevators, skyscrapers, and world traveling photographers are the theme. Learning through the prentedn play that preschoolers adore, we'll be rhymically busy playing storytelling games and handcrafting city "buildings" from wax paper at home so we can make a cityscape in class! Kindermusik for the Young Child is for children 5 to 7 years. Using a small-group approach to music education, Kindermusik provides the opportunity to explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and playing authentic pre-keyboard, string and woodwind instruments both solo and in ensembles.
Kindermusik for the Young Child is the final part of a four semester curriculum. Students begin Young Child Semester 1 in the fall and progress through Semesters 2, 3, and 4 over a two year period. Young Child Semester 2 further develops the child’s instrument playing skills on the glockenspiel while developing the greatest instrument of all the voice! Young Child provides a pressure free, developmentally appropriate transition where your child can musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction. Movin' & Groovin'
|
In a multi-age, multi-child Kindermusik Family Time class, you'll see in one semester how music helps your family laugh together, share, take turns, and how musical learning really can be a family thing. How your little one watches the older one-and learns from him. How early exposure to rhythm and rhyme develops the skills they need now and later in school. For families with children ages newborn to 7.
Movin’ & Groovin’ is a romping, rolling, stretching good time for the whole family. This ten-lesson unit of Family Time will explore lots of different ways to move high and low, fast and slow, zigzag, curvy, and more. Family members will chug around the classroom like trains, clip-clop like horses, and roll over like puppy dogs. They’ll hear a story about playing tag together in Can You Catch Me?, and read about a jungle hokey-pokey in Put Your Left Paw In. Show your best groovin’ moves it’s time for Movin’ & Groovin’
